Seven Generations Capital is an institutionally backed, Indigenous-owned, private real estate and investment firm, built off decades of success of Hungerford Properties. Our approach is guided by our values and long-term orientation, aligning the interest of the communities in which we invest, and providing material benefits for economic development, climate and culture.
We are proud of our Gwich’in ancestry, and our ability to play a role in growing the Indigenous economy. We are guided by our values and take a long-term view in our commitment to our partners and communities in which we invest.
There is a strong movement to acknowledge Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous People, and better include Indigenous Communities in the future prosperity of Canada. Salmon
The salmon is a symbol of perseverance, self-sacrifice, renewal and prosperity. For thousands of years, this fish has been the primary food source for coastal people, and is held in high esteem for the important role it continues to play in Northwest coast cultures and ecosystems today.
Canoe
The canoe has been and is a way of life for the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. It is not only the most versatile and reliable mode of transportation, it is a symbol of community, collaboration, and family of the Indigenous Peoples and Métis Voyageurs. A strong iconic visual of the past, present, and future explorations and discoveries.
Paddles
The paddles are symbolic representations of transportation, the sea, and life’s journey, as well as symbolizing collaboration, unity, exploration, and the pursuit of new experiences. They symbolize the guidance and direction needed to navigate the waters, ensuring a steady course towards prosperity. Each of the seven paddles represents a generation, emphasizing the enduring legacy and the flow of knowledge, traditions, and values passed down through time.
Sun
