Our Story

A hand holding a feather and Abalone shell in the process of smudging.

Seven Generations Capital is an institutionally backed, Indigenous-owned, private real estate and investment firm, built off decades of success of Hungerford Properties. Our approach is guided by our values and long-term orientation, aligning the interest of the communities in which we invest, and providing material benefits for economic development, climate and culture.

We are proud of our Gwich’in ancestry, and our ability to play a role in growing the Indigenous economy. We are guided by our values and take a long-term view in our commitment to our partners and communities in which we invest.

There is a strong movement to acknowledge Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous People, and better include Indigenous Communities in the future prosperity of Canada. We are committed to accelerating positive change and supporting Indigenous Communities on their path towards self-determination.
